Award-winning writer, showrunner, producer and founder of a successful production company is seeking an experienced and highly organized estate manager to oversee the daily operations of their estate. The desired candidate has strong analytical, reading and writing skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The candidate must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, think creatively, and produce innovative solutions. Previous experience in hospitality or other related positions is strongly preferred. The candidate must have effective transportation and ability to work nights and weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES ● Manage the estate’s day-to-day operations and serve as primary contact for all contractors, domestic staff, visitors, and other key contacts as denoted by the estate ● Create and maintain an estate manual to serve as the central command center for all estate operations ● Oversee and maintain the estate’s accounts receivable and payable; partner closely with the accounting department to ensure proper budgeting and financial management ● Oversee the estate’s groundskeeping, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure the grounds are well manicured, the living and sleeping areas are kept tidy and clean, and all appliances and fixtures are functioning properly ● Supervise and oversee all estate staff and contractors, including but not limited to housekeepers, groundskeepers, chefs, interior designers, art installers, security personnel, nannies, and dog walkers; oversee hiring and onboarding/offboarding of all estate staff and contractors ● Manage all estate visitors and hosting logistics, including but not limited to estate supplies, cleaning, NDAs, dietary restrictions, and schedule of events; plan and manage estate parties and social gatherings ● Manage the care for family pets, including but not limited to completing or coordinating walking, feeding, grooming, and veterinary visits ● Manage the maintenance of all estate vehicles, including but not limited to fueling, maintenance, repairs, detailing, registration, and licensing ● Maintain a detailed inventory of household groceries, appliances, furniture, artwork, and other personal property of the estate ● Complete errands, including but not limited to grocery shopping, food pickup and delivery, dry cleaning, PO Box, art framing, and domestic and international shipping (FedEx, USPS, DHL, curriers, etc.) ● Maintain and keep a detailed inventory log for the estate’s storage units; coordinate donations and giveaways ● Collaborate with estate assistants to maintain a detailed calendar of personal and professional commitments ● Coordinate with estate assistants to complete gift buying and tracking for estate VIP’s ● Receive and place outbound and inbound calls; greet visitors and answer intercom
