About the Role

Wayne Brady — 5x Emmy winner, Grammy-nominated singer, Broadway star, improv legend, and host of Let’s Make a Deal — is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to serve as his right hand across both his professional and personal life.

This is a true celebrity personal assistant role, defined as an assistant/estate manager who holds the primary and direct responsibility for the day-to-day activities of their celebrity employer — a combination of personal and professional demands. The ideal candidate is discreet, resourceful, endlessly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving entertainment environment where no two days look the same.

Professional Responsibilities

Manage a complex, ever-changing calendar across television production, podcast recording, live performances, music projects, and press/media commitments
Coordinate scheduling and logistics with managers, agents, publicists, production teams, and business partners
Arrange all travel (domestic and international), including flights, ground transportation, accommodations, and detailed itineraries
Prepare Wayne for appearances, meetings, tapings, and events — call times, materials, wardrobe coordination, and day-of logistics
Track deliverables, deadlines, and follow-ups across multiple concurrent projects
Handle correspondence, gifting, and relationship management with professional contacts
Serve as gatekeeper and primary point of contact, exercising sound judgment about access and priorities

Personal & Home Responsibilities

Work in close partnership with household, family, and shared personal matters, maintaining seamless communication and coordination
Oversee day-to-day home management, including household calendars, vendors, deliveries, and errands
Dog care: sometimes hands-on (“boots on the ground”), but more often coordinating — scheduling and managing veterinary and grooming appointments, arranging dog training, and ensuring continuity of care during travel
Occasionally house sit, or source, vet, and schedule trusted personal house sitters
During the current moving and building phase: vet, schedule, and supervise contractors working in the home, ensuring quality, security, and accountability
Manage personal appointments, reservations, and errands as needed

Who You Are

3+ years supporting a high-profile principal (entertainment, executive, or family office experience strongly preferred)
Absolutely discreet — you understand confidentiality is non-negotiable, and are willing to sign an NDA
A proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs before they’re voiced
Calm and adaptable under pressure, with excellent judgment and follow-through
Strong communicator, in writing and in person, with all levels of contacts — from studio executives to household vendors
Tech-savvy (calendars, travel tools, task management) and detail-obsessed
Comfortable with a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and travel
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check
A genuine love of dogs is a big plus
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
Additional benefits discussed during the interview process
